What is with the trampoline out back? It looks like one of those simulators where people learn to parachute. And the streetlamp next to ita long way back from the street. Did the pub annex part of the pavement at some juncture? This is the kind of quirky stuff that can make you glad you found a pub, but it's not what brings you back again.
Despite the fun randomness outside, the beer garden was one of the least pleasant beer gardens I've been too. Lots of glasses around, so the staff clearly had an aversion to it too. It felt a bit like someone's messy back garden
Inside was alright. The ale was off but the staff were friendly. The TVs dominate if the sport is on (they even have a speaker outside so you can listenwhich made no sense to me).
